I attended Camp Faerie Destiny Columbus Day Weekend 2005 and due to inclement weather a lot of faeries didn't show up. Since I drove from Connecticut I wasn't about to turn around.
It was a difficult weekend since I came up alone and not knowing anyone compounded the fear.
I made some mistakes while I was there and learned the hard way, that happens, it's life.
Since that time I have wanted to get back but every time I found out that there was a gathering I already had something scheduled so this year, 2008, I am determined to get to Walt Whitman Way.
I am buying a tent and air mattress in March so I can be there Memorial Day Weekend. I anticipate leaving my house at 9:00 to get there by around noon. I want to help set up, really see the land and then be one of the last ones to leave so I can help clean up.
I can't contribute financially except for paying for my days there so I want to help out as much as I can.
I want a chance to really connect with the Radical Faeries and for them to really connect with me.
